A Magic Steeped in Poison
A girl named Ning unknowingly brewed a brick of poisoned tea for her mother and sister. Her mother, a trained Shenong-shi, was able to save Ning’s sister but lost her own life. Even though the life of Ning’s sister was spared, she was still very ill. In order to save her life, Ning entered a competition of Shennong-tu to gain a favor from the princess as there is a rumor she has a magical stone that can heal any disease. Through the time she spent in the capitol, Ning faces several challenges, even beyond those of the competition. She makes enemies, as well as friends within the court, meets a peculiar boy in the market who calls himself “Bo”, and schemes against the ones who’ve poisoned the tea with the help of her friends.
