Spoilers of Divergent Tris and Four escaped Dauntless headquarters and are on the run from Jeanine Mathews, head of the Erudites, and the brain-washed Dauntless. They take refuge among the factionless, Amity and Candor, along with other allies, but face problems with both groups because of the danger Jeanine holds and the clashes of beliefs. One of the challenges faced among Candors was the truth serum they were forced to take and a secret Tris had kept from her friends. As she’s confronted by this, Tris becomes a bit suicidal, but is able to stop herself from going through with it. But, during the course of Insurgent, Tris continues to struggle with the worth and importance she places on her life. Their group faces many losses in their journey as they finally return to Dauntless headquarters.
